Our dried indigo pigment was made into a powder form at Vibrant Valley Farm from the Japanese Indigo plant (Persicaria Tinctoria). We seeded, planted, tended, harvested, extracted and dried our indigo here on site to assure the highest quality that we can share with you. .
This is a great ingredient to make our own dye vat (we suggest the 1-2-3 method), or to experiment with homemade inks and paints.
